Raft the legendary Zambezi rapids below Victoria Falls

Challenge the powerful Zambezi River on a guided white-water rafting trip through the Batoka Gorge. The route combines major Grade 3–5 rapids, calmer pools and towering basalt walls that make the river one of Africa’s most celebrated rafting destinations.

Experienced river guides provide paddling instruction, safety procedures and commands before the group enters the water. A safety kayaker supports the trip, while the exact rapid section and access route depend on seasonal river levels.

Choose from half-day, full-day and selected seasonal programmes. Rafting is physically demanding and best suited to active travellers who are confident in water and prepared for the gorge walk.
